The Postproduction Studio Marketing team is responsible for finishing and delivering creative audiovisual marketing materials for theatrical, and streaming titles across all the studio brands. We are the bridge between the Creative Advertising team and the Filmmakers. We assure that the creative marketing executive’s visions are fully realized without compromising the individual filmmakers’ vision so that our marketing materials maintain each filmmaker’s aesthetic.
We also serve as a conduit through which many departments/divisions within the company come for assistance to finish their materials, obtain elements and to facilitate legal clearance. These special relationships are crucial to ensure that all materials seen by the public and high-level executives meet the highest standards in audio and visual quality and are also legally cleared.
Job Summary:
This role will provide centralized support for the trailer finishing pillar of the Post-Production Marketing team, and additionally support our Broadcast/Online team as needed. They will collaborate with the full team across all aspects of the finishing process.
The qualified candidate must have an in-depth knowledge of post-production workflows, technical specifications, and an understanding of the legal and clearance needs for a Marketing campaign.
Responsibilities and Duties of the Role:
Liaise with Creative Executives, Strategy Executives, Finishing and Creative vendors to keep graphics, mix and delivery of trailer finishing materials on track
Work with the team to track legal and clearance notes for the theatrical and streaming trailers.
Manage Uploads of offline materials for the Postproduction team to handle.
Actively track Sizzles, Featurettes, and other special requests our team receives to finish.
Required Education, Experience/Skills/Training:
Ability to multi-task and juggle many projects simultaneously
Knowledge of MPAA and Legal Clearance issues including some knowledge of Music Rights issues
Excellent organizational skills, keen attention to detail and focus on accuracy is critical.
Motivated self-started, with a strong sense of urgency and ability to prioritize and work on multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
Positive attitude and calm demeanor in a fast-paced environment with a customer-orientated approach.
Maintain the highest level of professionalism and confidentiality regarding film materials and music assets.
Proficient on MAC platforms and adept at learning new software and web-based tools; knowledge of various audio formats.
Professionally communicate in all manners, with strong written and verbal skills.
Understanding of film formats and digital audio and video formats
Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent experience is preferred.
