The University is seeking an experienced and high-caliber professional to join the Campus Development Office (CDO) as Manager (Space Planning). The role will support the development and implementation of space strategies aligned with the University's long-term campus development objectives.
Reporting to the Director of Campus Development and Senior Manager (Space Planning), the appointee will take charge of managing space inventories and data, advising stakeholders on space allocation and utilization, developing and maintaining space policies and standards, and driving space audits and space management systems.
The successful candidate will work closely with internal stakeholders to coordinate space planning, allocation, and utilization across the Clear Water Bay campus and off-campus premises. The role will also contribute to the development and execution of campus and space planning initiatives, providing innovative solutions to enhance space efficiency and effectiveness.
Applicants should possess a bachelor's degree and a minimum of 8 years of relevant post-qualification experience, preferably in higher education or spatial planning related disciplines. They should demonstrate strong organizational, communication, planning, and presentation skills, and be a proactive and collaborative team player. Proficiency in architectural design software, BIM, and relevant statutory requirements and standards will be an advantage. (Duration: 2 years)
Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided. A gratuity will be payable upon successful completion of contract.
