Senior Sales Advisor - Inverness - William Wilson

As a Senior Sales Advisor based in Inverness you’ll be responsible for:

• Handling customer queries and provide solutions, including sourcing, quoting, and managing special orders
• Proactively contacting customers to build relationships and drive branch sales particularly focusing on customers with reduced or inactive spending
• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of product developments, market trends, and industry changes
• Coordinating with suppliers to source materials, check availability, and negotiate costs.
• Serving customers on the trade counter by understanding their specific needs and providing product recommendations and quotations.

This is a full time permanent role working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday between 08:00 - 17:00.

And here’s what we’d like you to have:

• A good all-round knowledge of the plumbing & heating industry with both commercial and domestic factors.
• An appreciation of the demands of working within the merchant industry
• Understanding the importance of teamwork and how it can improve service levels for customers
• Be able to demonstrate an understanding and passion for excellence in customer service
• IT, Numeracy and Analytical skills required
