Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Security Patrol in Miami, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer in a premier retail and mall location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service to guests, tenants, and visitors. You will support a welcoming environment through clear communication, teamwork, and integrity while reflecting Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, shoppers, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail common areas, storefront perimeters, parking areas, and surrounding property to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor for suspicious activity, access concerns, property damage, and/or maintenance issues, and report observations to the appropriate personnel.
• Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports while communicating professionally with site management, local authorities, and Allied Universal leadership as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
