Where you come in:
- You will follow all safety procedures and ensure compliance with company policies, regulations, and EHS requirements.
- You will support preventive and corrective maintenance activities for building systems, infrastructure, and facility equipment.
- You will conduct routine inspections and daily walkthroughs to identify safety risks, defects, and maintenance issues.
- You will coordinate with internal teams and contractors to ensure maintenance activities are completed safely, on time, and to the required standards.
- You will create, update, and maintain work orders, maintenance records, reports, and documentation in IBM Maximo, Smartsheet or other maintenance management systems.
- You will assist in troubleshooting, repairing, and monitoring building systems, including automatic doors, shutters, lifts, escalators, and dock levelers.
- You will prepare Scope of Work (SOW), Request for Quotation (RFQ), purchase requests, and procurement documentation for maintenance-related services and materials.
- You will support facility improvement initiatives, continuous improvement projects, and root cause analysis to enhance operational performance and reliability.
- You will maintain good housekeeping standards and collaborate with Facilities Operations, Soft Services, and key stakeholders to support daily site operations.
- You will provide timely updates on maintenance activities, issues, and project progress to management and perform additional duties as assigned.
What makes you successful:
- You must have Bachelor’s degree in Building Services, Facilities Management, Building Surveying, Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. Candidates with 1 to 2 years of experience in facilities management or building maintenance will have an added advantage.
- You have basic knowledge of building systems, facilities maintenance practices, and workplace operations.
- You possess strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve facility-related issues effectively.
- You are able to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team environment.
- You demonstrate initiative, accountability, and a proactive approach to managing assigned tasks and responsibilities.
- You are adaptable, eager to learn, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced operational environment.
- You have strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with colleagues, contractors, and stakeholders.
- Your proficiency in spoken and written English and Malay is essential for effective communication and coordination.
- Your proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, is required.
- You have exposure to building systems such as automatic doors, shutters, dock levellers, lifts, escalators, or fire protection systems, which is an added advantage.
- You are familiar with IBM Maximo, Smartsheet & AutoCAD, which will be considered an added advantage.
