Our Family Medicine Clinic in North Fargo is a fun environment. The clinic itself has been remodeled and the team of 5 providers and 7 nursing staff are very team oriented. The clinic provides primary care to patients of all ages but primarily sees the geriatric population and those seeking mental health care. This team does quite a few procedures on a daily basisWe are looking for someone interested in starting as a Patient Care Technician and completing our sponsored Medical Assistant training program to become nationally certified and move into a Medical Assistant role on the team.
Typical PCT Duties:
- rooming patients
- obtaining vital signs
- asking intake questions
- cleaning and stocking of patient rooms
Schedule is Monday through Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm, no weekends or holidays.

Summary
The Patient Care Technician (PCT) performs basic patient care services and supports activities within ambulatory services. Patient Care Technicians are multi-skilled to provide expanded services under the direct supervision of a licensed clinical professional.Job Description

Qualifications
High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred, but not required.Minimum of six months’ experience preferred. Experience in a clinic setting preferred. Knowledge of healthcare, anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and medical equipment/supplies preferred.
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) preferred. Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications. Basic Life Support (BLS) for health care providers required or within the first 60 days of employment. If working in North Dakota (ND) and not a Certified Nursing Assistant, must be registered as a Nursing Assistant (NA) through the North Dakota Department of Health within four months from the date of initial employment.
