How will you make an impact?
The Finance Director, BPG & LPG APJ is a key regional leadership role supporting the Bioproduction Group (BPG) and Laboratory Products Group (LPG) across Asia Pacific & Japan. This role partners closely with divisional and regional leadership teams to drive business performance, enable strategic growth initiatives, and deliver strong financial outcomes across a complex, matrixed organization.
The position provides financial leadership across both groups, ensuring high-quality insights, robust planning processes, and disciplined execution to support growth, profitability, and operational excellence.
What will you do?
Serve as a strategic finance partner to BPG & LPG APJ leadership teams, supporting strategy development, execution, and business decision-making
Lead financial planning processes, including annual operating plan, forecasts, and long-range planning across both divisions
Drive business performance management, including regular business reviews, variance analysis, and clear articulation of key drivers and trends
Provide actionable financial insights to improve growth, margin expansion, and operational efficiency
Identify and manage risks and opportunities, partnering with global, regional, and country stakeholders to drive performance outcomes
Support key initiatives including commercial strategies, pricing, and productivity improvements
Ensure accuracy, integrity, and transparency in financial reporting, in compliance with corporate policies, US GAAP, and SOX requirements
Drive process improvements and standardization across the region, enhancing reporting efficiency and data consistency
Partner with shared services and country finance teams to maintain a strong control environment and compliance culture
Collaborate across divisions and functions to ensure alignment and effective financial support in a matrixed organization
Lead, coach, and develop finance talent, fostering a high-performing and engaged team
How will you get here?
Education & Experience
Qualified Chartered Accountant, CPA, or equivalent
10+ years of progressive finance experience, including regional or divisional leadership roles in a multinational environment
Proven experience supporting complex, matrixed organizations with multiple business units
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Strong business partnering and stakeholder management skills
Excellent analytical capability with the ability to translate data into strategic insights
Strong financial planning and performance management experience
Ability to influence across functions and regions without direct authority
Effective communication and leadership skills, with the ability to operate at senior levels
High level of integrity, with strong focus on governance and compliance
Agile and adaptable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
