You'll develop a deep understanding of our business, hiring priorities, and talent markets while building pipelines that support both immediate hiring needs and proactive workforce planning initiatives. You'll also play an important role in representing Blue Nile in the talent market by building relationships with prospective candidates, communicating our employer value proposition, and inspiring top talent to explore careers at Blue Nile!
Key Responsibilities
Research & Talent Sourcing
Research talent markets, competitor organizations, industry trends and emerging sourcing channels to identify high-quality talent and uncover new recruiting opportunities.
Identify, engage, and attract passive candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, networking, referrals, professional associations, community partnerships, university partnerships and other traditional and non-traditional sourcing methods.
Build, maintain, and continuously cultivate talent pipelines that support active hiring needs, recurring workforce planning initiatives, and future hiring demand across multiple business functions.
Develop compelling, personalized outreach that captures candidates' interest, effectively communicates Blue Nile's employer value proposition and inspires top talent to explore career opportunities with our organization.
Conduct screens to gauge alignment with role requirements before introducing talent to the Talent Acquisition team.
Build long-term relationships with prospective candidates through consistent engagement and follow-up, creating talent communities that support both current and future hiring needs.
Support the development of diverse talent pipelines that expand access to exceptional talent and reflect our commitment to building an inclusive workforce.
Recruiting Operations & Candidate Experience
Support the day-to-day operations of the Talent Acquisition function, including recruiting admin, onboarding support, ATS maintenance, and other recruiting activities as business needs evolve.
Review and edit job descriptions and postings to ensure consistency, accuracy and alignment with company standards.
Maintain accurate recruiting data, candidate records, and sourcing activity within the ATS.
Deliver a responsive, professional and engaging candidate experience through timely communication, exceptional follow-through, and consistent engagement throughout the recruiting process.
Team Partnership
Partner closely with the Talent Acquisition Manager and Talent Acquisition Partner to understand hiring priorities, anticipate recurring talent needs and translate business insights into effective sourcing activity.
Share market intelligence, sourcing insights, competitive research, and talent trends that strengthen recruiting decisions and improve hiring outcomes.
Support Talent Acquisition initiatives and operational activities that contribute to the overall success of the recruiting team while maintaining a collaborative and positive approach.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, Marketing, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum 2 years of hands-on talent sourcing, agency recruiting, executive search research, or recruiting experience with demonstrated success identifying and engaging passive candidates.

Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search techniques, networking, referrals, and other traditional and non-traditional sourcing methods.
Experience building candidate pipelines across multiple job families while supporting multiple concurrent hiring priorities.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to craft compelling candidate outreach, build relationships with passive talent, and effectively communicate Blue Nile's employer value proposition.
