Job Summary:
Performs standard metal stud framing activities by independently executing defined assembly processes within prefabricated assemblies. Supports consistent quality and throughput by interpreting drawings, maintaining dimensional accuracy, and identifying framing issues. Enhances manufacturing efficiency by applying technical knowledge to layout, fastening, and alignment tasks. Maintains compliance with safety, quality, and production requirements throughout framing operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Installs metal studs, track, and framing components in accordance with drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
Measures, cuts, and assembles framing materials to maintain dimensional accuracy and alignment.
Uses hand and power tools to complete framing tasks safely and efficiently.
Identifies framing issues such as misalignment or tolerance variances and applies standard corrective actions.
Documents production progress and quality checks using established forms or systems.
Coordinates with adjacent trades or production teams to support workflow continuity.
Maintains a clean, organized, and safe framing work area.
Education Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience required.
Work Experience:
2 – 4 years of experience in metal stud framing, manufacturing, prefabrication, or a related construction environment required.
Certifications and Licenses:
None required.
