We are seeking a dependable, safety-focused Material Handler to join our Distribution team in Fort Worth, TX. This position plays a critical role in supporting warehouse operations by receiving, storing, moving, and shipping inventory while maintaining inventory accuracy and ensuring efficient warehouse operations.
This is a full-time, safety-sensitive position requiring the safe operation of forklifts and other material handling equipment.
Requirements
What you’ll do:
· Load, unload, receive, and ship products safely and efficiently.
· Operate sit-down forklifts and other material handling equipment to transport materials throughout the warehouse.
· Receive inbound shipments and accurately enter receipts into the warehouse management system.
· Coordinate and schedule inbound deliveries for cartons, pallets, and other warehouse materials.
· Pick, pack, wrap, label, and stage customer orders for shipment.
· Load outbound trucks while ensuring shipments are accurate, secure, and damage-free.
· Process and release customer orders within the warehouse management system following carrier pickup.
· Perform inventory cycle counts and assist with physical inventory activities to maintain inventory accuracy.
· Organize and stock inventory in designated warehouse locations.
· Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
· Interact professionally with truck drivers, carriers, vendors, and internal team members.
· Complete daily forklift and equipment inspections and report any maintenance or safety concerns.
· Follow all company safety policies, OSHA requirements, and standard operating procedures.
· Assist with other warehouse and distribution duties as assigned.
Your Background:
· High school diploma or equivalent.
· Previous warehouse or distribution experience preferred.
· Prior sit-down forklift experience is highly preferred.
· Experience working in a manufacturing or distribution environment is a plus.
· Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
· Strong attention to detail with the ability to balance speed and accuracy.
· Basic computer proficiency, including experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), RF scanners, and Microsoft Office.
· Familiarity with shipping, receiving, inventory control, and warehouse best practices.
· Strong organizational and time management skills.
· Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented environment.
· Dependable with excellent attendance and punctuality.
· Effective verbal and written communication skills.
· Ability to learn new systems and adapt to changing priorities.
