A day in the life of a FCC WB Associate Compliance Officer

You will join the FCC Wholesale Banking Belgium team. The team supports the Wholesale Banking business, comprising of the Financial Institutions and Corporates business lines. We focus on ensuring compliance with AML-CTF, Sanctions, and AB&C regulatory and policy requirements. We strive to be a trusted advisor to the business, enabling the Business colleagues being successful.

• You will join the FCC Wholesale Banking Belgium team. The team supports the Wholesale Banking business, comprising of the Financial Institutions and Corporates business lines. We focus on ensuring compliance with AML-CTF, Sanctions, and AB&C regulatory and policy requirements. We strive to be a trusted advisor to the business, enabling the Business colleagues being successful.
• You will interact with Senior Management to advise on client cases and transactions.
• You will support the team’s work across the various customer lifecycle processes. These comprise of most FEC processes end-to-end (e.g. CDD onboardings and reviews, offboarding, CAMS, screening)
• You will be part of a global FCC community, engaging with stakeholders locally and globally. You will have the opportunity to work in an international environment and cooperate with colleagues in various jurisdictions.

• You are passionate about the AML domain and are engaged to keeping the bank safe and secure. You contribute to ensuring the integrity & sustainability of the financial system.
• You have a master’s degree in law, economics (or equivalent in experience)
• You have excellent English communication skills (verbal and written), as English is the working language within the Wholesale Banking organisation.
• You are a team player – you will work closely with your team members and engage with global stakeholders. You can independently manage responsibilities assigned to you.
• You are open to learning new skills and taking on new challenges. You are energized and motivated by complex challenges within the Wholesale Banking domain.
