Pay  

Pay starting is $20.80/hr. ($23.50/hr. requires cross training with production operations)

$1.50 - $2.00/hr. Shift Differential 

Annual increases  

Work Schedule  

6:00pm - 2:30am (Monday-Friday)

9:00pm - 5:30am (Monday-Friday)

Required to work two weekends out of the month and holidays if needed.

*Overtime work as required*

Job Overview:

Employees will perform cleanliness and sanitation of the production and non-production areas in the plant. Typical positions an employee will fill include:  Wash and sanitize all infrastructure/equipment in or outside of the plant for inspection, Disassemble equipment and prepare for sanitation process, Utilize high-pressure hoses, foamers, and sanitizers including portable units, and be able to work with sanitation chemicals.

Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Perform all pre-operational safety inspections

  • Make sure guards are in place at work station

  • Know and follow all Quality Production Specifications in performance of the job

  • Know and follow all PPE and GMP in the performance of this job to ensure proper cleanliness of product

  • Use practices consistent with the highest possible quality and yield results

  • Housekeeping

  • Perform additional duties as directed by supervision

Qualifications:

  • Ability stand for the duration of shift excluding designated break times

  • Ability to work in refrigerated temperatures for duration of shift excluding designated break times

  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs

  • Ability to bend, twist and kneel to complete the sanitation process

  • Ability to operate a high-pressure hose with nozzle

  • Ability to work full-time and overtime

  • Ability to work to weekend shift and 2nd shift (afternoon start time)

Working Conditions:

  • Work is indoors; primary production floor is wet and cold; secondary locations are occasionally wet, seasonal climate.

  • You must wear the following PPE (Personal Protective Equipment): (bump cap/hard hat, safety glasses, slip resistant shoes, ear plugs).

Education and Experience

  •  High School Diploma/GED required

  •   Must have basic math and computer skills.

  •  1-2 years of manufacturing work experience.
