About the Role:
The Finance Manager will oversee the day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, regulatory compliance, and efficient finance processes. The role will lead the local Finance Team and have end-to-end responsibility for accounting operations, statutory and tax compliance, audit coordination, payroll oversight, accounts payable, cash management, budgeting, forecasting, and treasury activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day finance and accounting operations, including month-end and year-end closing, financial reporting, general ledger, accounts payable, payroll, reconciliations, and other accounting activities, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
- Manage tax, statutory, and regulatory compliance for Philippine operations, including coordination with relevant government agencies, tax filings, regulatory reporting, business permits, and internal and external audits.
- Oversee treasury and financial planning activities, including cash flow management, banking transactions, foreign currency requirements, budgeting, forecasting, and monitoring of the company’s financial resources.
- Maintain strong financial controls and improve finance processes by ensuring compliance with company policies, strengthening internal controls, identifying operational gaps, and implementing process improvements and automation where appropriate.
- Lead and develop the Finance Team while partnering with senior management and key stakeholders to provide financial insights, support business initiatives, and contribute to sound financial and strategic decision-making.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- At least 10 years of Accounting & Finance experience, with 5+ years in a leadership role.
- Strong experience in Philippine tax and regulatory compliance, including BIR and PEZA.
- Proven experience in month-end/year-end closing, financial reporting, and statutory/external audits.
- Hands-on experience with GL, AP, payroll, reconciliations, and cash management.
- Experience working in a multinational, shared services, or global organization.
Good to Have Qualifications:
- CPA certification is preferred but not required.
- BPO or shared services experience is highly preferred.
