T24 Application Developer

Our client is an established universal bank with a long-standing presence on the Romanian banking market, providing a broad range of financial products and services to both individual and corporate clients. The bank has a nationwide presence and is currently focused on sustainable growth, digitalization and the continuous development of its products, services and internal capabilities.

Position Summary:

Ensures the development and implementation of IT initiatives by coordinating software projects, defining and implementing performance indicators, and optimizing workflows, in order to support the Bank's strategic and operational objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Confirming project and Change Request (CR) requirements by analyzing objectives, required data and technical specifications, in collaboration with business stakeholders, team leaders and end users;
• Analyzing and structuring business and technical requirements, defining workflows and application logic according to functional specifications and the architecture of existing systems;
• Developing and implementing software solutions by translating functional requirements into source code and configuring the parameters required for applications to function properly;
• Testing developed applications and components, validating the results obtained and making the necessary changes to ensure proper functionality;
• Maintaining technical documentation and development history by continuously recording and updating implemented changes;
• Contributing to the implementation of assigned projects and achieving the objectives established at team and department level;
• Investigating and resolving incidents and issues related to application functionality, providing technical support and Level 2 and Level 3 troubleshooting activities;
• Analyzing how existing systems are used and providing user assistance to ensure the efficient use of IT applications.

Requirements:

• Solid knowledge of banking processes and IT systems used in the financial and banking sector;
• Good knowledge of legislation and regulations applicable to the IT field;
• Knowledge of IT project management;
• Very good knowledge of the Temenos T24 platform;
• Intermediate to upper-intermediate level of English;
• University degree in IT, Computer Science, Economic Cybernetics, or related fields.
