Quality Engineer (Metal Forming & Finishing)

Location: Subic Bay Freeport Zone, Zambales (Onsite)

About the Opportunity

A leading global manufacturing company is expanding its operations and is looking for Quality Engineer to join its team in Subic Bay. This role is ideal for professionals who are passionate about improving manufacturing processes, maintaining high product quality standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives in a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and improve product and process quality across manufacturing operations.
• Conduct quality inspections, process audits, and root cause investigations.
• Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to address quality issues.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to optimize manufacturing performance.
• Support quality validation activities for new products and process improvements.
• Analyze quality data and recommend actions to reduce defects, scrap, and rework.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in Quality Engineering within a manufacturing environment.
• Working knowledge of quality tools such as CAPA, SPC, PPAP, FMEA, and Lean methodologies is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.
• Experience in industries such as automotive, electronics, precision manufacturing, metal forming, or surface finishing is highly preferred.
