Job Description

As a Security Officer Digital Credential Operations in Sanford, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a residential location, where you will monitor entry points, verify visitors and credentials, manage access procedures, and provide welcoming customer service to residents and guests. You will maintain a visible presence, help deter security-related incidents, communicate clearly with the site team, and support a professional environment built on integrity, reliability, teamwork, and care.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and vendors by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access, and maintain visitor and vendor logs in accordance with residential community procedures.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of residential common areas, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Report unusual conditions, access-control concerns, and incidents to appropriate personnel while completing required documentation.

Minimum Requirements:

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
