EU VAT COMPLIANCE SPECIALIST (f/m)

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

The EU VAT Compliance Specialist ensures that VAT is handled correctly and on time across Ravago Group companies. This role combines tax and accounting knowledge with a good understanding of the business, supporting teams in making the right decisions in practice as a true business partner.

 It is a hands-on role, involving direct work on VAT reporting, process improvements and close cooperation with other teams. We are looking for someone who can think broadly, connect topics and find practical solutions.

 The role covers the EU market, so we are looking for someone who communicates confidently in English and Polish. Ideally, our new colleague will be based in the Warsaw area, with an expectation to work from the office three days per week.

OPPORTUNITIES

In this role, you will:

• monitor and manage day-to-day indirect tax compliance (VAT returns, Intrastat, SAF-T) and ensure timely filing,
• support and maintain VAT reporting tools, including their further rollout across Europe,
• act as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders on VAT compliance matters,
• monitor VAT positions of European entities (payments, refunds),
• cooperate closely with local finance teams on new VAT requirements,
• support internal and external VAT audits.

BACKGROUND

We are looking for someone who:

• has experience in VAT compliance, tax or accounting,
• understands EU VAT regulations and processes,
• feels comfortable working in an international environment,
• has strong organizational skills and attention to detail,
• has experience with ERP systems and/or VAT reporting tools.
