Back Office Consultant

Our client is seeking an experienced Back Office Consultant to work with their teams to bring clients live on enterprise cloud software for investment management.

About the Role & Platform

Our client's platform is a cloud-native, AI-first system built on a unified data model, designed to consolidate middle- and back-office wealth operations that legacy tools have traditionally kept fragmented. The core challenge is reconciling portfolio accounting, custodian feeds, and performance data across systems that were never built to integrate. Candidates who have worked with comparable wealth and accounting platforms are strongly preferred.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

• Collaborate with consulting team members and clients to understand, design, and implement strategic workflows across the investment management lifecycle
• Configure and test the platform based on client requirements, including data migration, reconciliation, portfolio accounting validation, and report customization
• Collaborate with technical consultants on the project team to support integration design, build, testing, and deployment
• Collaborate with others on determining priorities, setting client expectations, and managing interdependencies between technical and functional workstreams
• Work with internal and client technical, functional, and project management resources to support a successful go live and set the client team up for success
• Adhere to information security policies

Requirements

• Experience implementing investment management software in a client-facing capacity, with expertise in portfolio accounting, reconciliation, and reporting solutions
• Hands-on experience working with similar systems such as Addepar, Orion, Envestnet | Tamarac, SS&C Black Diamond, SS&C Geneva, FIS Eagle, or Clearwater
• Strong understanding of financial markets, including institutional and high net worth investment workflows
• Strong knowledge of financial instrument types, the asset management industry, and data related workflows such as reconciliation, data flows, and end user reporting
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver tailored training sessions effectively
• Exceptional organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
• 10-12+ years of relevant experience (Manager / Snr Manager level)
