As a Senior Platform & Developer Experience Engineer within the PMSO team, you are at the heart of Alliander's digital transformation. As System Operations shifts towards Grid-As-A-Service (GaaS) deployed on top of the Siemens GridScaleX (GSX), your primary mission is to evolve and re-architect our delivery mechanics, maximize developer velocity, embed seamless pipeline security, and build the scaffolding that enables microservices to ship safely at scale. 

While PMSO’s dedicated observability specialists focus on Elastic, OpenTelemetry, and APM analytics, you will guide the Platform Engineering, DevSecOps, and Release Automation side of the equation. You will operate with a high degree of technical autonomy—shaping delivery architectures, building local developer tooling, and helping shape future multi-DSO scaling models.

You will be working at our Liander Alliander business unit. Here, you will work on the management, maintenance or construction of our electricity and gas networks. Safety is always our top priority: you ensure safety in your daily work and we ensure that you are supported in this.

You thrive in environments where not everything is defined yet, enjoy bringing structure to complex challenges, and are comfortable helping shape platform standards and future-state architectures as they evolve.

Based on a 40-hour workweek, you can expect:

• A gross monthly salary between €5.4166,- and €6]7,737,- (scale 10) depending on your knowledge and experience

• annually an Individual Choice Budget (IKB) of 18% (full time) or 12.8% (part time) of your gross annual salary, including holiday allowance;

• 24.5 days’ holiday per year, which can be topped up generously from your IKB;

• an end-of-year bonus of 6% of your annual salary in December;

• a Sustainable Employability (SE) budget of €700 per year for your wellbeing and development;

• unlimited learning and development opportunities via relevant courses and training programmes;

• an NS (Dutch Railways) Business Card for sustainable commuting (or a kilometre allowance when using your own transport).
