Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Alarm Panel Patrol in Sandy Springs, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a leading automotive location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will support access control, respond to alarms and security-related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, vehicle-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of automotive facilities, parking areas, vehicle inventory locations, access points, and the surrounding perimeter.
• Monitor access to the location, verify authorized entry, and report unusual activity, damaged property, or policy concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain accurate activity logs and complete incident reports in accordance with site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
