Beloit Health System is seeking a compassionate and skilled Physical Therapist to join our Rehabilitation Services team. The Physical Therapist evaluates, develops, and implements individualized treatment plans to help patients restore function, improve mobility, relieve pain, and prevent or limit permanent physical disabilities. This position collaborates with physicians, advanced practice providers, therapists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient-centered care across a variety of clinical settings.
- Perform comprehensive evaluations to assess patients' physical function, mobility limitations, strength, balance, and overall rehabilitation needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient goals, diagnoses, and physician referrals.
- Provide therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, gait training, balance training, neuromuscular re-education, and other evidence-based interventions.
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, home exercise programs, injury prevention, and wellness strategies.
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory, professional, and organizational standards.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and departmental programs.
- Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) and students as appropriate
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor of Science, Master's Degree, or Doctorate of Physical Therapy from an accredited school.
- Current License in the State of Wisconsin as Physical Therapist
- CPR and AED Certification within 3 months of hire.
- Organization, time management, flexibility, and positive attitude are crucial to successful performance.
- Strong clinical assessment, treatment planning, and patient care skills..
- Current License in the State of Wisconsin as Physical Therapist
- Ability to handle pressures in meeting deadlines and effectively manage multiple tasks throughout the workday.
- Ability to interact effectively with the public
- Ability to exercise good judgment and possess good problem-solving skills.
