Description
The Warehouse Duty Manager supports the day-to-day operation of warehouse and logistics activities, acting as a central point of contact for internal and external stakeholders during operational shifts.
The role is responsible for monitoring and responding to operational communications, including shared inboxes and duty phones, coordinating requests, resolving issues, and escalating matters where required to support the smooth delivery of event operations.
The Warehouse Duty Manager plays a hands-on role in overseeing daily warehouse activities and organising the movement and transport of assets to and from site, ensuring equipment and resources are delivered, returned, and stored efficiently and in line with operational timelines.
Working closely with warehouse staff, transport providers, and internal teams, the role helps maintain operational readiness across all event phases and requires strong communication skills, sound judgement, and the ability to respond calmly in a fast-paced, time-critical environment.
