Supported Employment Specialist with Training Provided for New Grads

RIDGEVIEW Behavioral Health Services, a non profit community mental health center, has an immediate opening for a Full Time Bachelor's Level Supported Employment Specialist to provide employment-related social services at our Oak Ridge, TN, location.  You will function as a career coach for individuals who have experienced mental health and/or substance abuse issues that have impacted their employment, making a difference in everyday lives.

REQUIREMENTS

IPS (Individual Placement & Support) Employment and Education Specialists have

• Bachelor's or Associate's degree from an accredited college or university in education, social work, human resources, healthcare, or disability related field of study

or

• Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in another field and two (2) or more years of experience in education, social work, human resources, healthcare, or disability related field

JOB DUTIES

The Supported Employment Specialist develops supported employment and/or supported education opportunities with persons with substance use disorders, mental illness, and/or co-occurring disorders by participating in an integrated care setting and providing ongoing educational and employment supports.
