About AirAsia MOVE
AirAsia MOVE is a dynamic ASEAN-focused travel platform redefining the way people experience travel. As part of the Capital A Group, we deliver seamless, customer-centric solutions that combine innovation and operational excellence. By focusing on creating delightful customer journeys, we are shaping the future of travel in Southeast Asia.
About the Role
As Senior Manager, Product Management – Flights, you will be at the core of AirAsia MOVE's primary revenue engine. Your mandate is to own and grow the end-to-end flights product experience — from discovery and search, through booking and payment, to post-booking management — across our website and mobile app.
You are a commercially-driven product leader who can translate customer insights, market signals, and supply data into a prioritised product roadmap that drives flight sales, grows active flight users, and improves revenue per booking. You bridge the gap between business objectives and technical execution, partnering closely with Engineering, Commercial, Design, and Data teams to ship impactful product improvements at pace.
What you will do:
Flight Product Ownership: Own the end-to-end product roadmap for the Flights domain — covering search and discovery, fare display and pricing transparency, booking flows, flight ancillary services (seat selection, baggage, meals), and post-booking management.
Revenue & Growth Optimisation: Define and drive initiatives that grow flight sales volume, increase active flight users, and improve revenue per booking. Use funnel analysis and conversion data to identify and close drop-off points across the booking journey.
Supply & API Integration: Partner with the Commercial and Technology teams to ensure robust supply integrations — airline APIs, GDS connectivity, and real-time inventory management — are well-represented in the product and deliver a competitive, reliable fare selection for customers.
Pricing & Merchandising: Collaborate with the Commercial team to design product features that surface competitive pricing, support dynamic fare merchandising, and enable effective upsell of flight ancillaries.
Cross-Functional Leadership: Lead alignment across Engineering, Design, Data, Commercial, and Customer Support to ensure the flights product vision is understood, prioritised, and delivered consistently.
Platform Enhancement: Drive product requirements for the AirAsia MOVE website and mobile app to continuously improve the flight booking experience — reducing friction, improving performance, and raising customer satisfaction scores.
Roadmap Governance: Manage the full product lifecycle for flights initiatives — from ideation and scoping through delivery and retrospective — ensuring milestones are met, risks are flagged early, and stakeholders are kept informed through clear and timely reporting.
Operational Excellence: Audit existing flights product processes and customer journeys to identify bottlenecks, implement data-driven solutions, and set a consistently high bar for product quality.
What you need:
Experience: Minimum 6–10 years in Product Management, with a proven track record in consumer-facing digital products — ideally within travel, OTA, e-commerce, or marketplace platforms.
Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of the online travel landscape, including flight search and booking flows, airline supply and API ecosystems, fare structures, and ancillary product mechanics. OTA experience is a strong advantage.
Analytical Skills: Confident using data to drive decisions — experienced in tracking and improving KPIs such as search-to-book conversion, flight revenue per user, ancillary attach rates, and booking funnel drop-off metrics.
Communication: Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate business objectives into clear, actionable product requirements and communicate roadmap tradeoffs to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Product certifications (e.g. AIPMM, Pragmatic) or Agile/Scrum certifications are advantageous.
Mindset: A commercially-minded, customer-obsessed product leader with an Allstar attitude, comfortable operating in a fast-paced, iterative environment and accountable for measurable business outcomes.
