## Job Responsibilities:
As an Engineer, TSE Probe Integration at Micron, you will play a crucial role in our ambitious and world-class team. Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the evaluation, fixing, installation, and deployment of Probe FOAK TOR equipment across manufacturing sites.
- Deploying best-known methods across all sites, addressing TOR procedure gaps and equipment deficiencies, and building and implementing improvements.
- Partnering with Probe HVM site equipment teams to develop and support new process and technology implementations.
- Monitoring process efficiency and OEE to identify improvement opportunities and recommend corrective actions.
- Supporting TOR equipment operating software and software release activities.
- Evaluating new technologies and FOAK equipment to improve current toolsets and operating methods.
- Completing assigned projects and tasks independently with a hardworking approach.
- Traveling domestically or internationally as needed to support business-critical projects and deployments.
- Adjusting to functional rotations according to business requirements.
- Bringing to bear AI skills to improve workability and adopting AI-related skills into the work.
- Leverage AI-enabled tools and data analytics to improve equipment performance, troubleshooting efficiency, and process optimization.
- Utilize AI and automation solutions to streamline engineering workflows, accelerate problem solving, and drive productivity improvements.
## Support Internal and External Customers
- Leading and mentoring site equipment owners in taking on new SWAT projects, enabling members to assume active roles and responsibilities.
- Responding to HVM site requests as required and prioritizing customer requests in line with business needs.
- Addressing external customer requirements as needed.
- Diagnosing equipment issues in the probe area and implementing effective solutions.
## Adhere to and Promote 6S
- Identifying and promptly reporting hazards in the lab area.
- Following safety procedures and area work rules, including accurate PPE, lockout, and chemical safety practices.
- Operating equipment and tools following manufacturer and company instructions.
- Using accurate lifting techniques and maintaining ergonomic work practices.
- Supporting 6S initiatives in alignment with HVM site requirements.
## Qualifications
We are looking for candidates with:
- Practical experience with manufacturing probe procedures and machinery.
- Experience operating probe test equipment; familiarity with backend test equipment is preferred.
- A proven understanding of equipment mechanical and electrical fundamentals, including electronic circuits, infrastructure, mechanical functions, and equipment reliability.
- Knowledge of key equipment metrics, including utilization, OEE, MTTR, and MTBF, with a strong understanding of related benchmarks.
- Strong analytical problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis and structured problem-solving tools, including KTDA, Risk Assessment, FMEA, and approaches to support evolving workflows.
- Good command of English with effective communication skills.
- A basic understanding of probe processes, probe program languages for memory device coding, SEC/GEM, GPIB, and information system communication protocols.
- Demonstrated ability to adopt and effectively use AI, digital tools, and automation technologies in daily work.
- Experience using AI-assisted analytics, reporting, or problem-solving tools is preferred.
## Job Requirements:
Successful candidates for this position will have:
- A Bachelor of Science in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience and education.
- A self-motivated and hardworking personality with a positive outlook.
- A general understanding of backend operations for component assembly, and component test operations.
- The ability to lead worldwide business processes and take a business process approach in worldwide networks.
- Agility to lead and complete prioritized action items from both tactical and strategic points of view.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
- Experience in SharePoint list management and in writing optimized SQL queries.
- Experience with Data Visualization platforms and libraries such as Tableau and Power BI is advantageous.
- Embrace AI-enabled ways of working and continuously explore opportunities to improve business outcomes through responsible AI adoption.
- Experience in Python is beneficial.
