What You Will Achieve
In this role, you will:
As part of technical operations, you will be developing and applying your knowledge of procedures, techniques, tools, materials and equipment. Your receptiveness to new ideas will enhance the team’s ability to achieve goals and targets.
Successfully complete the on-site aseptic gowning training program and demonstrate the ability to work in aseptic conditions while wearing the required gowning (complete coverage including hood and goggles) for extended periods.
Successfully complete on-site training to achieve and maintain qualification in cleaning protocols for both aseptic and non-aseptic environments. Training includes hands-on proficiency with specialized cleaning equipment such as state-of-the-art equipment prep chambers, floor scrubbers, aseptic mopping systems, and solution sprayers.
Execute cleaning and sanitization tasks—both routine and non-routine—according to standard procedures and within required timeframes. Maintain stocking levels of gowning and ancillary equipment for use in the aseptic production areas of the plant. Ensure all work meets quality and compliance standards.
Maintain precise electronic records of completed tasks utilizing the Pfizer electronic log system. Utilize basic computer skills to navigate common applications (Word, outlook, Teams, Excel).
Work effectively within a team environment to complete routine tasks, identify and resolve contamination control issues, remediate from planned and unplanned events, and seek opportunities for continuous improvement.
Demonstrate integrity by adhering to Pfizer’s standards, guidelines, and values, and by taking ownership of ethical decision-making.
Here is what you Need (Minimum Requirements)
High School Diploma or GED with 2+ years of manufacturing/industrial experience
Ability to learn and use industry-standard software such as the Quality Tracking System, Pfizer Document Management System, Pfizer Electronic Log System, and Enterprise Asset Management Solution
Good interpersonal skills to maintain employee relations and foster a positive working environment.
Proficiency in English reading, writing, and speaking
Commitment to adhering to Current Good Manufacturing Practices (CGMP) and safety regulations
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Bonus Points if you Have (Preferred Requirements)
Solid understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices in a manufacturing environment
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a team environment
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks
Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Knowledge of aseptic and chemical cleaning processes
Physical/Mental Requirements
Must be able to lift 35-45 lbs. sporadically and 10-20 lbs. frequently; including lifting above shoulders, requiring a full range of motion.
Must be able to wear all personal protective equipment (PPE) as required (head to toe gowning including hood, facemask and goggles).
Standing/physical activity for up to 8 to 10 hours depending on assigned area.
Must be able to withstand routine exposure to cleaning chemicals in use.
Must be able to read, write, and follow written and oral instructions in English.
Must be capable of performing data entry into electronic systems.
Non-standard Work Schedule, Travel, or Environment Requirements
Able to work rotating shifts, holidays, nights and weekends as required and overtime as required for business needs.
Able to work from 6:00 pm - 4:00 am.
