Vice President, Production Coordinator, Creative and Media Services (C13)
Job Summary
Citi’s Creative and Media Services team is looking for a forward-thinking production mastermind to help keep us on track to deliver high-quality content. In this role, you’ll flex both your operational and creative muscles on a daily basis. Reporting to the Production Manager (SVP), the Production Coordinator will be responsible for the group's project intake, management, and delivery across the team's overall production and post-production calendars. This role will have the opportunity to work closely with colleagues throughout the firm to create engaging content across Citi-owned channels internally and externally. The ideal candidate has great interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate across a variety of interests and backgrounds.
Responsibilities
- Partner and collaborate with Communications colleagues and internal business units to support the delivery of digital content that tells a great story and engages audiences.
- Oversee the project intake process, serving as the primary point of contact for incoming production requests — triaging, logging, and routing projects appropriately throughout the process.
- Manage the department's production and post-production calendar and develop detailed schedules and project plans.
- Assess, prioritize, and facilitate requests from multiple departments while balancing the team's overall workload and flagging capacity constraints to the Production Manager.
- Select and coordinate crew for productions, sourcing appropriate talent and freelancers based on project requirements.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with production companies, freelancers, and other creative professionals, serving as a key point of contact for the team's extended creative network.
- Coordinate locations — including studio access, space reservations, on-site logistics, and scheduling — to ensure smooth execution across all productions.
- Track and maintain detailed oversight of shoot costs associated with all projects.
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Media Production, Visual Arts, or a similar field.
- Experience in a top-tier studio, remote & post-production video/film company, or agency environment.
- Highly organized and resourceful project manager with a demonstrated ability to multi-task effectively across concurrent productions.
- End-to-end video production knowledge from creative development through post-production.
- Experience (or knowledge/familiarity) with the Adobe Creative Suite.
- Expert knowledge of PC/MAC platforms, including Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience and an active interest in AI and LLM platforms.
- Experience and/or familiarity with various studio technical roles (camera, audio, teleprompter, etc.), video editing, or assistant editing (digitizing, video editing project management).
- Ability to manage field productions, conduct interviews, and b-roll shoots in the field and in-studio a plus.
- Established relationships or demonstrated experience working with production companies, freelancers, and creative professionals.
- Great people skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with and influence business partners who are not as well versed in video/event production on project-related concepts and logistics.
- Operates efficiently in a very fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
- Creative, resourceful, and strategic thinker.
- Excellent daily growth & impact mindset supporting goals of the department and the wider organization.
- Integrity, maturity, dependability, and a positive professional attitude.
- A team player who will implement initiatives effectively and motivate others to carry out their work.
