Job Title: Senior Associate - External Audit
Location: Makati City
Work Set-up: Onsite or Hybrid | Dayshift
Job Overview
The Senior Associate - External Audit will manage audit engagements from start to finish, making sure all audit work is carried out accurately, efficiently, and in line with applicable accounting and auditing standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise audit teams through the full lifecycle of external audit engagements, from planning to completion
- Carry out audit procedures such as substantive testing, analytical review, and assessment of internal controls
- Review audit working papers, financial statements, and supporting schedules
- Examine financial records to flag risks, discrepancies, and audit findings
- Liaise with clients on audit observations, requirements, and related queries
- Keep audit engagements on track and completed within agreed deadlines
- Apply relevant accounting and auditing standards, including PFRS/IFRS
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- At least 1.5-2 years of external audit experience
- Experience supervising or leading junior audit staff
- Solid grasp of accounting and auditing principles, including PFRS/IFRS
- Background in audit planning, fieldwork, documentation, and financial statement analysis
- Strong analytical, communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- CPA license is a plus but not required
