Description
Our incredible team at Mosaic is looking for a Veterinary Technician Assistant to join our practice – Fairview Veterinary Clinic - in Fairview, Alberta. This is a full time position, working Monday to Friday 7.5 hours each day.

The Ideal Candidate
As our ideal candidate you have a passion for:
- Mixed animal practice. Our team members have a love of working with multiple species of animals;
- Ensuring high quality customer service to our clients, and supporting the operations as required in areas of scheduling and managing their invoicing and computer records;
- Supporting others, such as the clinic manager, veterinarians and veterinary technologists with daily treatments and care of patients;
- Cleaning and maintaining instruments and equipment and complete inventory tasks as needed;
- Animal handling and husbandry;
- Setting up for medical procedures and surgeries.
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast pace environment
- Excitement, desire and passion to learn and take ownership of assigned duties
- The ability to lift 35+ pounds without assistance
- Completion of a high-school diploma
- Experience owning or working with large animals an asset
- Preference given to those with previous industry experience.
