The role is based in Johannesburg, South Africa (on-site). Where You'll Make a Difference

• Support the manufacture of flavor powders, emulsions, and liquid products in accordance with approved work and processing instructions.
• Establish effective production methods and translate them into clear manufacturing recipes and workflows.
• Support technology implementation, system improvements, and reliable manufacturing operations.
• Troubleshoot production and workflow issues, identify contributing factors, and implement practical corrective and preventive actions.
• Monitor yield, waste, product-costing, inventory-control, and master-data issues within the manufacturing environment.
•   Contribute technical input to operational and engineering projects that improve quality, efficiency, and production performance.
•  Follow applicable Good Manufacturing Practices, food-safety requirements, work instructions, environmental standards, and site safety procedures.

What Makes You the Right Fit

• A degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Food Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• At least 4 years of relevant experience in manufacturing, production, process engineering, or manufacturing technology.
• Experience in manufacturing processes, production technologies, or continuous-improvement activities.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and relevant stakeholders
• Clear verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to prepare technical information and reports.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to make independent and objective technical recommendations based on process and manufacturing data
• Ability to use digital tools, systems, and manufacturing technologies to support operational performance.

How Would You Stand Out?

• Experience working with Operational Technology Team (OTT) solutions or manufacturing digitalization initiatives.
• Familiarity with SAP and Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Knowledge of project-management practices or Six Sigma methodology.
