An IT Service Engineer (m/f/d) is responsible for providing technical support and assistance to end-users within an organization. They are tasked with troubleshooting and resolving software and hardware issues, as well as configuring and deploying new hardware and software systems. The ideal candidate for this role should possess excellent problem-solving skills, strong communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Operate the day to day IT Service Desk to our employees through emails and online ticketing system.
  • Monitors and track incidents, service requests in IT ticketing system. Responsible for dispatching and escalating tickets to next support level, as per the internal guidelines.
  • Monitors continously and forward movement of end-user issues until they are resolved.
  • Manage and operate the installation/delivery of all End User Device including Desktops, Laptops, Monitors, Phones, Printers and Mobile device.
  • Responsible for all PC health status; ensure all computers are properly patched and virus protected.
  • Provide assistance to users regardless of their geographical location.
  • Performs any other IT related duties including on-demand project.
  • Manage telecommunication system and cabling system. Work with external vendor to ensure smooth operations and SLA are met.
  • Prepare and participate in disaster recovery and unscheduled shutdown drills
  • Prepare report as request by management.
  • Additional duties may be assigned within the Service Desk area of responsibility

Qualifications

  • Ideally completed studies in the field of computer science/business informatics or comparable IT education
  • Ideally already existing ITIL foundation certification
  • Practical experience in IT helpdesk
  • Practical experience in the administration of end user devices (hardware & software)
  • Good understanding of processes and basic knowledge of business administration
  • High willingness to actively shape change and take responsibility
  • Strong passion to engage with new technologies and trends
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Independent, analytical, and structured way of working
  • Very good written and spoken English (min. C1- Level)

 

We offer direct hiring with an indicative gross annual salary range between €35,000 and €48,000, defined in compliance with transparency criteria and based on the candidate’s experience and level of skills acquired.
