Assistant Manager - Electrical Maintenance

The Assistant Manager – Electrical Maintenance is responsible for managing plant maintenance activities, electrical systems, utilities, substations, and power distribution systems to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations. The role focuses on improving equipment uptime, ensuring compliance with electrical safety standards, driving preventive maintenance, and leading continuous improvement initiatives across the manufacturing facility.

• Manage electrical maintenance activities for assembly machines, press shop equipment, and utilities.
• Troubleshoot and maintain PLC-controlled systems such as Mitsubishi, Siemens, Omron and Allen Bradley platforms. Scada development is added advantage
• Establishing new poke yoke systems based on the process requirement
• Develop and modify PLC programs to improve machine performance and reliability.
• Maintain and troubleshoot robotic systems and automated manufacturing equipment.
• Ensure effective execution of preventive and breakdown maintenance activities as per plant targets.
• Should have knowledge on servo controls installation and Trouble shooting techniques
• Handle electrical inspections, and new electrical compliance requirements.
• Coordinate with contractors for testing and maintenance of HT equipment.
• Manage HT and LT drawings and electrical works under valid C-License requirements.
• Identify electrical safety hazards and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Ensure compliance with quality systems, safety standards, and statutory requirements.
• Lead, train, coach, and motivate maintenance team members to achieve departmental objectives.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and plant productivity.
• Monitor key performance indicators and develop action plans for performance improvement.
• Support ISO 50001 Energy Management System implementation and continual improvement of energy efficiency and consumption

Handling of complete team of Maintenance, Supporting new machines installation along with facility readiness
