The Payroll Program Senior Manager is a leadership position responsible for creating and maintaining a positive work environment that fosters employee engagement. The team’s main responsibilities include:
- Set-up and monitoring of feedback files,
- Contribution Management System (CMS) set-up,
- IDF set-up, Quality Assurance and Quality Control of the function
- SFTP set-up, monitoring and diagnosing issues,
- Lead and support client calls and emails related to programming issues or assigned projects
- Providing technical assistance on areas of responsibility and troubleshooting when issues arise
- Working closely with Payroll Consulting team during the life cycle of a project
What you’ll do:
Lead the team in delivering timely, accurate payroll programming support while coaching team members, strengthening accountability, and driving improvements that enhance the client experience, reduce risk, and support service commitments.
Responsibilities include leading, coaching, and developing team members while setting clear expectations and maintaining accountability for goals and deliverables. This role works directly with internal and external partners, plan sponsors, and payroll vendors to support payroll-related changes, manage project priorities, and ensure timely follow-through. The Senior Manager also oversees daily operations, workflow, controls, and quality standards while identifying opportunities to improve processes, reduce risk, strengthen administrative efficiency, and enhance the overall client experience.

Required Qualifications:
- 5–7 years of experience in qualified retirement plan administration, the financial services industry, payroll operations, or a related role.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite of programs including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and OneNote.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with minimal errors.
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
- Outstanding time management skills and exceptional interpersonal/analytical skills.
