The Technical Ink Manufacturing (TIM) organization in TIO/MTD/FTI is seeking a leader with a passion for developing people and delivering business results. In this role, you will manage a team of chemists, engineers, supplier relationship owners, and program managers responsible for the qualification, manufacturing, supply continuity, and lifecycle management of HP's global production ink portfolio.

As a member of the TIM Global leadership team, you will sponsor business-critical programs, manage strategic supplier partnerships, and help drive execution against quality, supply continuity, compliance, and cost objectives. Success in this role requires strong leadership, sound judgment, clear communication, and the ability to build effective partnerships across a global network spanning R&D, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Regulatory, and Business Unit organizations.

This position is based in Corvallis, Oregon.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of technical and program management professionals.

  • Foster an inclusive, collaborative environment where employees can innovate, grow, and deliver results.

  • Sponsor management of change programs supporting product quality, supply continuity, regulatory compliance, and cost competitiveness.

  • Manage organizational resources, budgets, and business priorities in a complex matrixed environment.

  • Guide issue resolution and escalation management for complex technical and operational challenges.

  • Represent the TIM Global organization objectives and performance with assigned Business Units and stakeholders.

  • Lead strategic supplier relationships in partnership with the Print Procurement organization.

  • Champion operational excellence, continuous improvement, and effective business processes.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or a related technical discipline.

  • 5+ years of leadership experience in a manufacturing, development, or technical environment.

  • Experience leading and developing technical professionals.

  • Experience working across global teams, diverse cultures, and organizations.

  • Experience with printing technologies or color science preferred.

  • Ability to travel internationally (<5%).

The pay range for this role is $130,700 to $205,200 USD annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to United States of America candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
