Description

What you'll do here:

• Own the end-to-end product lifecycle for the entire WDP portfolio, establishing the overarching product vision and strategy, and translating executive guidance and DoW needs into a cohesive, prioritized, and actionable product roadmap. 
• Drive the strategic vision and direction of the entire WDP product portfolio, maintaining ultimate authority over what is built and why, while continuously analyzing the mission landscape, user needs, and the competitive environment to maximize strategic value and mission impact.
• Lead and scale a world-class product management organization by recruiting, mentoring, and developing a high-performing team of product managers, program managers, UX designers, and technical writers.
• Serve as the primary advocate for the user at all levels of the organization, building deep relationships with warfighters, analysts, and business operators to intimately understand their workflows, pain points, and unmet needs.
• Represent the voice of the user in all strategic discussions, technical debates, and resource allocation decisions, and evangelize the product vision and roadmap to stakeholders across the DoW, Combatant Commands, and partner organizations to build consensus.
• Establish and refine the craft of product management within the WDP, setting the standards for product discovery, user research, roadmap planning, and go-to-market execution.
• Foster a culture of outcome-oriented innovation, psychological safety, intellectual honesty, and relentless customer focus, where success is measured by user adoption, customer satisfaction, and tangible mission impact.
• Perform all personnel-related processes, including selecting, rewarding, and developing subordinate managers, team leads, and staff.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship is required.
