POSITION OVERVIEW
We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Teppanyaki Chef to join a boutique luxury hotel & a Michelin Key property opening in St. Eustatius in November. Reporting to the Owner with a dotted line to the Executive Chef, this is a hands-on role for a passionate sushi professional with a strong work ethic and the confidence to thrive in a standalone restaurant setting. American or Dutch passport holders only.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare and execute a high-quality teppanyaki and Japanese cuisine menu with consistency and precision
- Manage the teppanyaki station, ensuring cleanliness, mise en place, and smooth service at all times
- Source and handle fresh fish and ingredients with care, maintaining the highest food safety standards
- Collaborate with the kitchen team and Executive Chef to deliver a seamless dining experience
- Contribute to menu development and seasonal specials as the restaurant grows
QUALIFICATIONS
- Proven experience as a Teppanyaki Chef in a restaurant or hospitality environment
- Strong technical teppanyaki skills including precision knife work, tableside cooking techniques, and showmanship
- Standalone restaurant experience is welcome; luxury or resort background is not required
- Strong work ethic with the ability to work 48 hours per week over 6 days
- American or Dutch passport required
- Caribbean experience is not required; openness to island living and a new environment is essential
