DKD Enterprises, LLC is seeking a dependable and motivated Warehouse / Prefab Associate to join our team. This position plays a vital role in supporting field operations by maintaining warehouse organization, managing inventory, preparing prefabricated electrical assemblies, and ensuring materials and equipment are ready for project needs. Position Summary:
The Warehouse / Prefab Associate is responsible for receiving, organizing, staging, and distributing electrical materials while assembling prefabricated electrical components according to company standards and project specifications. This position works closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, Foremen, Purchasing, and field personnel to ensure efficient warehouse operations and timely delivery of materials.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, unload, and organize incoming electrical materials and equipment.
- Accurately pull, stage, package, and load materials for delivery to job sites.
- Assemble prefabricated electrical components including conduit racks, supports, boxes, device assemblies, and other electrical systems.
- Read and interpret basic construction drawings, material lists, and prefab work orders.
- Maintain accurate inventory counts and assist with inventory control.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Load and unload company vehicles and vendor deliveries.
- Keep the warehouse, prefab shop, yard, and storage areas clean, organized, and safe.
- Identify damaged, defective, or missing materials and report discrepancies.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections of warehouse equipment and tools.
- Assist with deliveries to project sites when needed.
- Follow all OSHA regulations and DKD Enterprises safety policies.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Warehouse Manager or Construction Management Team.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred.
- Previous warehouse, construction, electrical supply, or prefabrication experience preferred.
- Basic knowledge of electrical materials and equipment is highly desirable.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record preferred.
- Forklift certification is a plus (training may be provided).
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Required Skills:
- Ability to identify and organize electrical materials accurately.
- Basic understanding of electrical components and construction terminology.
- Ability to read material lists, labels, and basic blueprints.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment and power tools.
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and material management.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Physical Requirements & Working Conditions:
- Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull materials weighing up to 75 pounds with or without assistance.
- Stand, walk, bend, kneel, squat, climb ladders, and reach overhead throughout the workday.
- Work in both indoor warehouse and outdoor yard environments in varying weather conditions.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely.
- Perform repetitive lifting, sorting, and assembly tasks.
- Wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including safety glasses, gloves, hard hats, steel-toe boots, and other required equipment.
- Work overtime when business demands require.

Preferred Qualifications:
