About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Commercial Lease Manager to join our Integrated Portfolio Management team.
In this role, you'll take ownership of a diverse property portfolio, managing lease obligations, financial administration, compliance requirements and portfolio reporting. Working closely with landlords, government agencies, property professionals and internal stakeholders, you'll play a key role in ensuring lease integrity, financial accuracy and exceptional client outcomes. You'll be supported by a Lease Analyst and report to a Senior Lease Manager.
This role is ideal for a highly organised property professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys balancing lease management, stakeholder engagement and financial oversight.
Key Responsibilities
Manage leasehold and freehold property portfolios and associated lease obligations
Ensure lease data integrity across property management databases and reporting systems
Review and approve lease abstracts, lease obligations and lease documentation
Manage rent reviews, CPI increases and lease compliance requirements
Oversee recurring and non-recurring lease payments and approvals
Review expenditure and revenue rent rolls and identify discrepancies or opportunities for improvement
Manage tenant billing, outgoings reconciliations and revenue recovery processes
Interpret lease documents and provide advice on landlord and tenant obligations
Support annual budgeting, forecasting and expenditure analysis
Review financial reporting and portfolio performance data
Liaise with landlords, agents, solicitors, clients and internal stakeholders
Support audit processes, reporting requirements and compliance obligations
About You
Minimum 3 years' experience in lease management, property administration or commercial property management
Strong experience across commercial property portfolios including office, retail and industrial assets
Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to manage high volumes of data and reporting
Strong financial acumen and experience reviewing lease-related costs and expenditure
Proven ability to conduct monthly audits, reconciliations and data quality reviews
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise competing deadlines
Demonstrated ability to interpret lease documentation and manage compliance obligations
Advanced administration and database management skills
Tertiary qualification in Real Estate, Business or Finance, or Estate Agent's Licence highly regarded
