The Role
Your role
The Director, Kinship @ Kyndryl for Strategic Initiatives plays a key role in shaping and sustaining a workplace where employees feel included, supported, and able to thrive. Strategic Initiatives Leaders design, implement, monitor, and continuously improve global Kinship @ Kyndryl offerings that align with Kyndryl’s business needs and long-term vision. They collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence to ensure offerings reflect Kinship @ Kyndryl principles. They also work closely with Regional Kinship @ Kyndryl leaders, providing updates on offerings and enabling them to consult with their regional customers. Strategic Initiatives Leaders depend on Regional Leaders for feedback on offering performance and local needs, using these insights to inform future design and enhancements.
Strategic Initiatives Leaders report to the VP, Global Kinship @ Kyndryl and work in close partnership with HR Centers of Excellence, Regional Kinship @ Kyndryl leaders, and other HR and business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning & Program Development
Identify opportunities for new or enhanced Kinship @ Kyndryl offerings that support Kyndryl’s business strategy and vision
Define short-term and long-term milestones for global initiatives.
Ensure all initiatives and programs align with company goals and mission.
Design, launch, refine, and oversee global Kinship @ Kyndryl programs and offerings from concept to completion
Develop scalable solutions that can be tailored by Regional Leaders for local engagement.
Project Management & Performance Monitoring
Manage budgets, timelines, and deliverables for multiple initiatives
Oversee project teams, ensuring accountability and progress toward objectives
Monitor program implementation and ensure consistent quality and impact
Develop and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) and reporting tools to track progress, measure impact, and demonstrate value
Analyze program data and feedback to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams (HR, business units, Centers of Excellence, etc.) to ensure alignment and effective execution of strategic goals
Partner with HR Centers of Excellence to ensure offerings reflect best practices and are fully integrated with enterprise processes
Work closely with senior leadership and other stakeholders to drive projects forward and communicate progress
Educate Regional Kinship @ Kyndryl leaders on new and existing offerings, enabling them to create customized strategic plans for their countries/regions
Build and maintain strategic partnerships with external organizations and customers to enhance Kinship @ Kyndryl offerings, ensuring programs reflect industry best practices and meet the evolving needs of both internal and external stakeholders.
Analysis, Reporting & Continuous Improvement
Conduct research and perform analysis to identify best practices and support strategic decision-making
Create clear, actionable reports for leadership and stakeholders
Actively solicit and incorporate feedback from Regional Kinship @ Kyndryl leaders regarding offering performance and local needs
Use insights from the field to inform future offering design and enhancements

Who You Are
Required skills and experience
- Experience supporting or delivering HR, people, or culture‑related programs focused on inclusion, belonging, or well‑being
- Demonstrated ability to translate strategy into practical initiatives, tools, or processes while understanding and incorporating the local lens
- Experience using qualitative and quantitative data to inform decisions and evaluate outcomes
- Ability to collaborate and partner with multiple stakeholders across HR and the broader organization
- Experience supporting change initiatives or organizational improvements
- Demonstrated emotional intelligence through empathetic engagement, active listening, synthetization and thoughtful decision‑making
- Attention to detail in compliance and operational processes
Preferred skills and experience
- Experience working in a complex or matrixed organization
- Familiarity with employee listening tools such as engagement surveys or focus groups
- Experience contributing to inclusion, belonging, well‑being, or culture initiatives at an enterprise or regional level
- Knowledge of change management principles and their application in people programs
