Maintenance Technician – 2nd Shift
Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable, skilled Maintenance Technician to support our die-cast manufacturing operations on 2nd shift. You’ll troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment to ensure safe, reliable operation and minimize downtime.
Work in a clean, climate-controlled facility with a collaborative team focused on safety, productivity, and continuous improvement.
Shift Schedule
- 2nd Shift: 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM
- Alternative: 3:00 PM – 1:30 AM
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on production machinery.
- Respond to equipment breakdowns and minimize production downtime.
- Adjust equipment and replace components as needed.
- Support production teams with equipment performance and reliability.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and document completed work.
- Follow all safety procedures and preventive maintenance schedules.
- Support continuous improvement and equipment reliability initiatives.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED preferred; equivalent maintenance experience considered.
- Previous industrial, manufacturing, or die-cast maintenance experience preferred.
- Technical/vocational training in industrial maintenance, mechanical, or electrical systems is a plus.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read technical manuals, diagrams, and work instructions.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform standing, walking, bending, and other physical tasks throughout the shift.
- Reliable attendance and flexibility to support production needs.
Preferred Skills
- Preventive maintenance experience.
- Die-cast equipment experience.
- PLC troubleshooting or controls experience.
- Basic welding or fabrication skills.
