Description

Job Summary

The Fischer Group is seeking an AI Continuous Improvement Specialist to translate business problems into practical process improvements across the organization. This role uses detailed process mapping, process flow diagrams, and stakeholder analysis to understand how work is performed, identify friction and opportunities, and partner with teams to drive process changes, standardization, and continuous improvement.

As part of the AI Team, the specialist will help determine where AI, automation, and enabling technology can create clear value while influencing change across all levels of the organization through clear communication and partnership. Although the role sits within the Information Technology department, it is business- and functional-focused in nature, combining process analysis, change leadership, and practical AI application.

This position is 100% onsite, day 1 in our Erlanger, KY office.

You Will Thrive in This Role If You…

  • You enjoy learning how work happens across departments and translating business problems into clear improvement opportunities.
  • You are comfortable documenting current- and future-state processes through detailed process maps and flow diagrams.
  • You can analyze stakeholder needs, build shared understanding, and partner with teams to move improvements forward.
  • You influence change through communication, facilitation, credibility, and partnership rather than relying only on formal authority.
  • You are energized by evaluating where AI, automation, and enabling technology can improve the way work gets done.
  • You value standardization, measurable outcomes, thoughtful documentation, and dependable follow-through.
  • You can balance business value, operational realities, risk, cost, compliance, and quality when shaping improvements.

These Skills Will Be Used To:

  • Translate business problems into process improvement opportunities, map current- and future-state processes, conduct stakeholder analysis, and identify practical AI use cases.
  • Lead workshops and cross-functional working sessions; partner with field managers, trade partners, operations teams, department leaders, and AI champions to build alignment, drive standardization, and influence change.
  • Evaluate where AI, automation, advanced analytics, or enabling technology can create clear business value, then build, configure, and ship AI agents and automations against prioritized business use cases.
  • Establish baseline metrics and measure results, including cycle time saved and token spend against value delivered, while aligning improvements and solutions with business strategy, risk management, and operational goals.
  • Partner with AI champions and data and platform teams to move validated experiments into governed, production-grade agents; support data readiness, access, testing, troubleshooting, and user support.
  • Own ongoing agent maintenance and performance by monitoring output quality, tuning prompts and instructions, evaluating model choices, and keeping solutions cost efficient as usage scales.
  • Document solutions, publish reusable patterns, contribute to AI Team knowledge base articles and templates, communicate complex concepts clearly, and apply sound judgment when evaluating technology, vendors, and architectures.
  • Build scalable and sustainable AI frameworks, drive accountability and execution across cross-functional teams, and perform additional duties as requested by management.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience within the homebuilding, residential construction, or manufacturing-based industries.
  • Demonstrated track record of leading improvement initiatives with measured results in time, cost, quality, or safety.
  • Ability to lead workshops, facilitate cross-functional working sessions, and guide teams through change.
  • Strong analytical skills, including process mapping, stakeholder analysis, baseline measurement, root cause analysis, and connecting process changes to business outcomes.
  • Hands-on experience applying AI tools, automation, or advanced analytics to process improvement work.
  • Familiarity with enterprise AI platforms such as ChatGPT Enterprise, Claude, Glean, or Microsoft Copilot.
  • Experience partnering with software, data, or IT teams to turn process designs into durable technical solutions.
  • Change management training or certification.
