Description
Our client, a busy hospital located near Kansas City, CO, has a need for a Director of Surgical Services to join their team. The Director will oversee around 75 FTEs.
The Director of Surgical Services ensures high quality, patient-centered care through oversight of the overall function and staffing of the unit(s)/department(s) in addition to forecasting, planning, and budget monitoring. The Director fosters a culture of accountability and collaboration and supports the development and implementation of strategies, policies, and procedures in support of facility objectives.
Overview
- Level II Trauma
- 11 ORs and are in process with adding 2 more (construction project will double size of SPD, double pre op & pacu, refresh existing ORs and add the two additional ORs for a total of 13 ORs)
- 450-500 surgeries/month
- CV, ortho, neuro spine, general, GYN, urology, vascular
- Only level II trauma center in Johnson County – lots of Trauma volume
Ideal candidate experience:
- Must have Surgical Services Director experience
- BSN required
