Description
Assess, develop, and implement comprehensive departmental application systems utilized by all Supervision Services Departments: Adult Probation, Juvenile Probation, Pretrial Services, and Treatment Courts. The Technical Operations Coordinator (TOC) manages automated departmental activities with the Department of Information Technology Solutions{ITS), Connectrex, Juvenile Case Management System (JCMS), and Problem Solving Adult and Juvenile Court Information System (PAJCIS). The TOC will provide technical leadership in support of departmental and application systems in a Local Area Network environment. The TOC will coordinate all Help Desk calls for departmental personnel. The position identifies, coordinates, and supports all technical trainings for department personnel. Assist in providing reports as requested by county and state agencies. The TOC is essential to ensure quality assurance and fidelity are achieved throughout Supervision Services.
This is a grant-funded position.
- The TOC will be responsible for Information Project Management.
- Coordinate activities between all Supervision Services Departments: Adult Probation, Juvenile Probation, Pretrial Services, and Treatment Courts, case management systems, CPCMS, JCPCMS, JNET, PAJCIS and vendors and ITS in all aspects of application development and maintenance of those automated systems.
- Ensure data systems are clearly defined, accurate, efficient, and timely to meet departmental standards.
- Ensure compliance with County policies, and State and Federal legislation and standards.
- Provide technical assistance to departmental personnel in support of computer hardware and software used in the application environment.
- Maintain communication with Administration, all departments, Connectrex, CPCMS, JCPCMS, JCMS, JNET, PAJCIS, other vendors and ITS personnel.
- Fosters an environment that promotes diversity, equity and inclusion.
- Maintain a working knowledge of all hardware and software technologies used in the department.
- Research and evaluate future and related software products that support the department and coordinate all software upgrades.
- Train and support department personnel in the use of computer software and appIications.
- Develop and provide automated data reports to facilitate the management of the departments' workload and the quality control of its automated systems and provide research reports upon request.
- Demonstrate the ability to write, create, detail, and explain reports utilizing SQL and Crystal Reports.
- Complete16hoursofprofessional development training annually.

- Bachelor's Degree; experience preferred.
