*Starting at $15.00 - $27.00 per hour depending on experience and certification level 


POSITION DESCRIPTION:

  • Develop personalized training programs tailored to each member’s fitness level, goals, and health considerations
  • Conduct one-on-one and group training sessions, ensuring proper technique and safety
  • Motivate and encourage members to stay committed to their fitness routines
  • Monitor and track client progress, adjusting programs as needed
  • Educate members on proper exercise form, nutrition, and healthy lifestyle habits
  • Maintain a clean and organized training environment
  • Stay current with industry trends and certifications to provide the best service possible

Requirements

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Must stay current in CPR/AED/O2 and First Aid, renewed annually. (Training provided by the Y, if needed)
  • Must complete all required Redwoods Trainings within 30 days of hire and renewed annually.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • High School education or equivalent preferred.
  • Must be an approved national Personal Trainer Instructor.
  • Required to lift excessive weight (minimum of 50 pounds).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to motivate and inspire clients of diverse backgrounds and fitness levels.
