Tige is looking for a Food Service & Catering Manager to lead and grow the food program across our Market locations. This role combines food service leadership, training and coaching, sales growth, catering, food safety, and program development.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who understands food service, enjoys developing people, and is excited about creating great customer experiences while growing the business.

You’ll work closely with our District Managers, Store Managers, Marketing team, vendors, and food service partners to strengthen and expand our food program across the Markets.

What You'll Do

• Oversee food program operations across all Market locations.
• Partner with District Managers and Store Managers to ensure consistent food quality, service, training, and execution.
• Coach and mentor Store Managers and team members on food program standards and the Tiger Way.
• Drive growth in deli sales and overall food program performance.
• Ensure food operations comply with applicable Health Department, Department of Agriculture, and industry regulations.
• Conduct monthly deli audits and provide follow-up coaching and support.
• Oversee food preparation for in-store, online, catering, and delivery orders.
• Develop and expand online ordering and delivery capabilities.
• Manage and enhance catering operations, including processes, training, and support for Store Managers.
• Monitor inventory, order key ingredients and supplies, and maintain strong vendor relationships.
• Build collaborative relationships with Retail leadership, vendors, suppliers, food service providers, and community partners.
• Work with Marketing to support food promotions and growth initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, customer experience, sales, and profitability.
• Support the VP of Retail Operations with food program initiatives and special projects.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in food service, food safety, hospitality, or a related field.
• Proven experience in food service, catering, food program, or restaurant management.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state food safety regulations and best practices.
• Experience training, coaching, and developing employees.
• Strong business and problem-solving skills with an ability to identify opportunities for growth.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Comfortable working independently while collaborating across multiple teams and locations.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Comfortable using technology and learning new systems.
• A genuine passion for food, customer service, and developing people.

This Is a Hands-On Role

• Frequent travel between Market locations.
• Combination of field-based and office work.
• Regularly stand for extended periods and work in active food-service environments.
• Ability to lift 25+ pounds and frequently bend or kneel as needed.
• Flexible schedule, including occasional evenings, weekends, and on-call support.
