Team Overview

99 is transforming how millions of people move across Brazil — and we're now transforming how we work internally. The AI Transformation team sits at the center of that: we map how teams actually get things done today, then rebuild those workflows around AI agents, automations, and modern tooling.

We're looking for an intern who already lives in this world. Someone who uses AI daily by default, who has opinions about which tools are actually good, who has wired up an MCP server or an automation just to see if it would work. You don't need to be an engineer. You need to be sharp, relentlessly curious, and genuinely excited by technology that didn't exist eighteen months ago.

You'll work alongside product, operations, and business teams across the company, with real ownership over projects that change how people work — not slide decks about it.

Role Responsibilities

• Mapping existing workflows across 99's teams and identifying where AI can remove friction, cut cycle time, or unlock something new
• Prototyping and shipping AI-powered solutions: agents, automations, structured input/output pipelines, custom skills, and MCP-based integrations
• Running hands-on experiments with new models, tools, and techniques — then translating what works into something the rest of the company can actually use
• Creating enablement material (guides, templates, prompt libraries, live sessions) so teams adopt what you build
• Measuring impact: hours saved, error rates, throughput — and iterating based on what the numbers say
• Scouting the frontier and bringing back what matters, separating genuine capability from hype

Role Qualifications

• A daily AI habit — you use these tools constantly and can talk specifically about how they've changed the way you work or study
• Hands-on familiarity with modern AI tooling: MCPs, agents, skills, automated pipelines, structured outputs, or similar. Built on your own, at a job, or in a side project
• Strong analytical thinking and the ability to break a messy process into steps that can be automated
• Comfort with ambiguity and a bias toward building fast, testing, and iterating
• Clear communication — you can explain a technical idea to someone who isn't technical
• Intermediate to advanced English
