E-Commerce Developer

We are looking for a highly motivated E-commerce Developer to join our Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) technology team. This is an entry-level role perfect for a candidate with strong foundational knowledge, a high degree of curiosity, and a passion for e-commerce. You will focus on learning the intricacies of commerce technologies—including order management, payments, and fraud systems—while applying your problem-solving skills and leveraging AI tools to drive system performance and operational excellence.

Your Contribution:
In this role, you will grow as you:

• Assist in the implementation of the e-commerce ecosystem, learning how B2C/B2B platforms and order management systems function in a global environment.
• Support design discussions by researching options and analyzing their impact on scalability and performance.
• Learn to maintain integrations between core order lifecycle systems, ensuring you understand the flow from order placement to fulfillment.
• Contribute to the strategy for expanded commercial channels, using your critical thinking skills to help build omnichannel models.
• Build agentic systems  to ensure they are optimized for automation, security, performance, and compliance standards.
• Collaborate closely with team members, actively participate in code reviews, and embrace best practices to accelerate your professional growth.
• Apply AI tools to assist in feature development, debugging, and maintaining up-to-date documentation for development efforts.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Strong foundational knowledge of software development Evidence of academic projects or internships involving e-commerce or web applications.
• High learning agility with a proven ability to solve technical problems quickly and creatively.
• Basic proficiency in modern web architectures and data transfer mechanisms.
• Eagerness to leverage AI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Gemini) to enhance productivity and code quality.
• Solid understanding of best practices in commerce and ability to bring a consulting approach to help business solve issues and challenges
• Proven ability to analyze complex systems, develop data-driven solutions, and demonstrate strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, including communicating with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills suited for IT, marketing, and executive audiences.
• Must be able to work flexible hours to collaborate with a diversely distributed global IT and business team members
• Multi-tasking, with strong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Build a working knowledge of ecosystem components such as PIM, DAM, and CDP, and learn how they contribute to a cohesive digital customer experience.

• Apply AI tools to assist in architectural exploration—using them to explain complex integration patterns, debug technical challenges, and accelerate your understanding of event-driven architectures.
• Adopt a consultative mindset by learning to analyze business needs and bridging the gap between requirements and technical solutions.
