What You'll Do
As a CNC Operator II, you'll play a key role in producing precision components that meet high standards of quality and performance.
Responsibilities Include:
- Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, and machining centers
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders
- Load materials and secure workpieces for machining
- Perform inspections using calipers, gauges, and precision measuring tools
- Verify part quality and ensure specifications are met
- Complete production records and work order documentation
- Perform routine machine maintenance and housekeeping
- Support team members and assist with operator training
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment
What You Bring
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of CNC machining or manufacturing experience
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Knowledge of machining techniques and CNC operating procedures
- Experience using precision measuring equipment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Basic to intermediate math skills
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
- Flexibility to work overtime when needed
Preferred Qualifications
- Manufacturing or machining experience in a production environment
- Technical, vocational, or trade school training
- 5 Axis machine experience, including set-up and operation
- Haas, Doosan hands-on experience
