Position Summary

We are seeking a Manufacturing Applications Systems Administrator to support, maintain, and improve the enterprise applications used across engineering, manufacturing, quality, and production planning.

This role will administer manufacturing platforms such as Dassault Systèmes 3DEXPERIENCE, DELMIA/Apriso, Manufacturo, and ComplianceQuest (CQ). The application portfolio supports Product Lifecycle Management and Product Data Management (PLM/PDM), Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), Quality Management Systems (QMS), and Material Requirements Planning (MRP).

The administrator will partner with business process owners, IT teams, and software vendors to keep these systems reliable, secure, and aligned with operational needs. The ideal candidate combines hands-on application administration experience with an understanding of manufacturing processes and a practical approach to troubleshooting and continuous improvement. This is an onsite role supporting our Strategic Systems group in Colorado. 

Key Responsibilities

Application Administration and Support

• Administer, configure, maintain, and support manufacturing applications across development, test, and production environments.
• Manage user accounts, roles, permissions, licenses, and access reviews in coordination with IT security and business owners.
• Configure workflows, forms, business rules, notifications, reports, and dashboards to support approved business requirements.
• Monitor application health, scheduled jobs, integrations, and performance; investigate and resolve issues affecting users or production operations.
• Provide advanced application support, document resolutions, and coordinate escalations with software vendors and implementation partners.
• Maintain application documentation, including configurations, support procedures, system dependencies, and troubleshooting guides.

Manufacturing Process Support

• Support PLM/PDM processes involving engineering documents, product structures, bills of materials, revisions, and engineering changes.
• Support MES processes involving work instructions, production execution, work-in-process tracking, genealogy, and traceability.
• Support QMS processes involving document control, nonconformances, corrective and preventive actions, audits, and training records.
• Support MRP processes and associated application dependencies involving material requirements, inventory availability, and production planning.
• Work with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain teams to translate operational needs into application improvements.

Integrations and Data Management

• Monitor and troubleshoot data exchanges among PLM/PDM, MES, QMS, MRP, ERP, and other connected systems.
• Partner with integration specialists and developers to maintain interfaces, resolve synchronization failures, and improve data reliability.
• Support controlled data imports, exports, migrations, and master data maintenance.
• Help establish and maintain data ownership, accuracy, consistency, and traceability across applications.

Change Management, Security, and Reliability

• Plan and coordinate application upgrades, patches, configuration changes, and releases using established change management procedures.
• Develop and execute application test plans, coordinate user acceptance testing, and document results before production deployment.
• Coordinate maintenance windows and communicate changes or outages to affected stakeholders.
• Support audit readiness through appropriate access controls, change records, system documentation, and evidence collection.
• Partner with infrastructure teams and vendors on backup, recovery, and business continuity requirements.
• Support system validation and controlled documentation where required by the organization’s quality or regulatory obligations.

Business Partnership and Continuous Improvement

• Gather requirements, evaluate proposed enhancements, and recommend practical solutions.
• Identify opportunities to simplify workflows, automate repetitive tasks, and improve user experience.
• Develop user guides and provide training for end users and application superusers.
• Participate in application implementations, site rollouts, and cross-functional improvement projects.

Required Qualifications

• Requires a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in information technology, information systems, engineering, manufacturing, or a related field, or combination of lower education combined with equivalent practical experience.
• Five or more years of experience administering or supporting enterprise applications in a manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on experience with one or more PLM/PDM, MES, QMS, MRP, or ERP platforms.
• Working knowledge of manufacturing processes and the relationships among engineering, production, quality, inventory, and planning.
• Experience with application configuration, role-based access, workflow administration, troubleshooting, and change management.
• Familiarity with relational databases, SQL queries, APIs, and application integrations.
• Experience supporting application upgrades, testing, and production releases.
• Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and communicate effectively with both technical teams and business users.

Preferred Qualifications

• Direct administration experience with 3DEXPERIENCE, DELMIA/Apriso, Manufacturo, ComplianceQuest, or similar tools.
• Experience administering multiple manufacturing application platforms or supporting multiple manufacturing sites.
• Familiarity with Salesforce administration, particularly in support of ComplianceQuest.
• Experience with ERP integrations and the flow of bills of materials, routings, work orders, inventory, and quality data.
• Experience with scripting or automation using tools such as PowerShell, Python, or platform-specific utilities.
• Familiarity with single sign-on, enterprise identity management, and application security controls.
• Experience in regulated or quality-controlled manufacturing environments.
• Relevant platform administration certifications or IT service management training.

Working Conditions

• Regular collaboration with manufacturing floor personnel and engineering, quality, supply chain, and IT teams.
• Occasional support outside normal business hours for production issues, maintenance, or application releases.

The good faith base salary range or this role is $90,000–$130,000 at the time of this posting. Where you fall within the range will depend on experience, skills, and location. This range reflects base salary only and does not include benefits or bonus/incentive. This range may be adjusted in the future.
