Electrical & Automation Projects Manager

Overview

TITAN Group is looking for an Electrical & Automation Projects Manager to join our Group Engineering & Technology team, under the Electrical Department, based in Athens, Greece.

 

In this role, you will own the end-to-end delivery of the electrical & automation (E&A) scope of assigned Group Technical Projects, from budgeting through to hand-over, collaborating with a team of internal engineers and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Own the E&A budget and schedule, and report on progress, cost and risk to the Electrical Department Manager and project governance.
• Define the E&A scope, including P&IDs, I/O and signal lists, and functional analysis, with the Design Team and BU Process Departments.
• Follow E&A procurement process in collaboration with Group and local procurement departments, from technical descriptions and evaluation to partner selection and contract management, including variations and claims.
• Direct the E&A design, including DCS/PLC control strategies and BIM integration.
• Lead or participate in project risk management, including HAZOP and FMEA studies.
• Plan E&A engineering resources and mentor the E&A Project Engineer(s).
• Coordinate and oversee site works with the support of BUs and external partners in compliance with regional Health & Safety requirements.
• Support commissioning, start-up and prepare the Project Folders for hand-over.

Qualifications

Candidate Profile

 

• Integrated master’s degree (5-year Diploma) in Electrical Engineering from a recognized Polytechnic University, with registration at the Technical Chamber of Greece.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in Electrical, Instrumentation & Automation (E/I&A), including participation in industrial and EPC projects and engineering teams.
• Solid project management skills, including planning and scheduling (e.g., MS Project, Primavera), cost control, earned value, risk and change management.
• Experience managing contractors, contracts and claims, and reporting at senior management level.
• Fluency in English and availability for frequent travel within Greece and internationally. Knowledge of Turkish, French, Arabic or Balkan languages will be considered an asset.
• A postgraduate degree (MSc, MBA), Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, IPMA) and SAP experience will be considered an asset.
• Fulfilled military obligations, where applicable.
